Example of how a single dental implant can replace a single tooth
This patient presented with Maxillary Incisor Crown fracture and was interested in dental implants. She was referred to me from her general dentist. Extraction of the remaining root was completed, and a Straumann bone level Dental Implant was placed and restored approximately 4 months later. Gingival recession was noted on the Maxillary Central Incisor due to surgical treatment and alveolar bone loss. The recession was fixed with a Class V filling and re-treatment of the crown at the Cental Incisor. As a Periodontist, I have extensive experience and training with dental implants.
