Periodontist reunite at The University of Texas-Health Science Center at Houston Dental Branch.
Dr. Ryan Lanman and Dr. Jared Abramian are Periodontist and longtime friends who graduated together from Ponca City High School 1997 and Oklahoma State University 2001. Dr. Ryan Lanman received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, while Dr. Jared Abramian received a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology.
Both men attended “rival” dental schools. Dr. Jared Abramian attended The University of Texas-Health Science Center Dental Branch to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery, while Dr. Ryan Lanman received his DDS from The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.
In 2008 they reunited in Houston when both were accepted simultaneously for residencies in periodontics. They say it was a great coincidence as the program accepts only three dental school graduates each year. After seven years of hard work and dedication, both graduated in June 2011.
Dr. Ryan Lanman is practicing in the Oklahoma City, while Dr. Jared Abramian is practicing in Houston, Texas. Both men are Diplomates of the American Board of Periodontology.
